Where can a golf simulator go?
Basements, attics, garages and bonus rooms can all work. Here is what each one needs.
Basements
Basements are the most popular place for a home golf simulator: they are quiet, cool and usually have the floor space. The one thing to check first is ceiling height.

A vaulted attic can make a spectacular golf room with plenty of headroom. We have built a full-swing simulator in a vaulted attic, and we know the extra steps attics need.
Learn more →Garage & Bonus Room
Garages and the bonus rooms above them are some of the best full-swing spaces in Middle Tennessee homes. Many have the width and ceiling height a simulator needs.
Learn more →Will my space work?
Three numbers decide it: ceiling height, room width and room depth. As a starting point, most full-swing rooms need roughly 9 to 10 feet of height, 12 to 16 feet of width and 16 to 20 feet of depth. Rooms that are a little smaller can still be great for irons, wedges and putting.
